After careful consideration and a lot of brainstorming with the client, the name Terracotta was scratched, and the name Magaza was born.

Magaza also means “market” in Turkish, which goes in line with the restaurant itself, which represents a real “market” of great food and atmosphere.

The concept for creating the Magaza logo was based on the rustic and industrial feel of the interior and location, paired with emblem-style elements.

The color was based mostly on the interiour and the client’s vision for the restaurant:
– Orange, the color of joy, creativity and expression
– Black, the base of the interior, and an excellent contrast
– Grey, the cherry on top made for rustic details

The typography was consisted of three great typefaces, each representing a different side of Magaza.

We’ve decided on a heavy illustration style paired with industrial colors and typography to bring it all to life.
